The following information is provided in order that clients and potential clients have a clear understanding of the business side of their work with me. Of course, these policies are subject to some negotiation in hardship cases and every attempt at flexibility will be made when they present a problem for a client. Please feel free to ask about anything that is unclear, and clients and potential clients are encouraged to ask for additional information and/or share any questions and concerns about these issues.

The nature and size of my private practice are such that it is not possible to work directly with insurance companies for reimbursement. It is therefore necessary that the client pay directly for services rendered. 

Fees for each therapy session:
  • Individual - $125 
  • Couples - $220
  • Group - $75
Sliding Scale: 


All fees are payable at the time that services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made. All accounts should be paid in total at least monthly. Fees may increase periodically.  NOTE: It may be possible to be flexible in cases of financial hardship, in order to maintain the therapeutic relationship, while the client's finances are reorganized.

Cancellation Fee:

Scheduled appointments are made one to two weeks in advance, and a given hour is considered blocked for a specific client. Thus, a late cancellation usually results in an open hour, inconvenience and a loss of revenue. Therefore, cancellations made less than 24-hours before the appointment will be billed a 50% cancellation fee. Missed appointments (no-shows) will be billed at full rate. Of course, exceptions will be made to this policy in the case of extreme weather or other emergency.
