End of Life Care

Social Workers have traditionally been a main player in helping care for people near death so that they can have a so-called "good death" or perhaps the more accurate "least-worst death."

End-of-life is defined as the period when health care providers would not be surprised if death occurred within about six months - is a time when Social Workers can treat depression and anxiety associated with pending death, offer grief counseling and help provide compassionate care for the dying and their loved ones.

Through compassion and empathy, I am here to assist in the needs that present themselves during this phase of life.
